stator plate/magneto.

[/i] i bought a mini dirtbike not got a clue what make it has 110gy on the back plastics. i got no spark so tried wiring it all up. still no spark took the flywheel casing off and my stator plate is bolted onto the casing on the inside. the copper wire coil thingy looks to be a bit corroded. the bike has sat in a garage for bout 5 year. whats the chances that the stator plate will need replacing????? please help as i'd really like to get it going and go out for a burn up with my son as i had to stand in the rain today watchin him fly about. how annoying. lol. thanks.
