    centrifugal clutch problems

i just got a 49cc harley type motorbike. i was riding it around for about 5 minutes, then i turned it off and when i went to start it i pulled the pull starter and the back wheel turned with the engine.

any ideas on how i could fix this?

    2 stroke or 4 stroke?

If two stroke there is a chance you've snaped an clutch arm and it's jamed on, or maybe just a spring has broken.
It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of hiding it from the wife.

I don't own a cheap chinese bike, it's an effing expensive one - but i love it!

i already have a pitbike i was just given this bike.

no i havnt been riding up hills i rode it around my front yard for about 5 minutes. now you cant roll it backwards(you can roll it forwards because there's a clickwheel on the rear wheel, like on a pushbike)

Have you taken a look at it? Depending on what sort of centrifugal clutch it is, you've either snapped a spring or the springs have come loose. Or possibly what crf50 said. Just get the housing off or whatever is in the way and take a look at it,

    Good work.

Post a pic or two if you can. Of the bike and the stuffed up clutch.
