I have an Atomik Bigfoot that has a 140cc Gongyu engine. Does anyone have some info on this???
Is it the same as a Lifan 140?

most likely the same thing, basically all 50cc - 250cc engines out of china come out of the same town (and i`ve heard some different brands all come out of the same factory), my brother looked it up when we were over there.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm glad to know my motor is actually a Lifan 140!

Lifan 140 is ip55fmj. My zongshen 140 is ip56fmj, the yx140 is also ip56fmj. Im pretty sure YX is the actual factory what makes ip56fmj motors.

Ok so my motor is most likely a yx. Is it a reliable motor?
How does it compare to a lifan 140???

Mate being of typical Chinese quality I would expect not too reliable...but, that said, do we buy these things for reliability? Immediate fun is generally why these type things are bought eh. If you want reliabilty, resale and after sales support then we need to shop for the JAp/Euro stuff me thinks at ;east.
