Just got my sons pitbike up and running again, and it is going well. This after the one lock nut on the valve rocker came loose and jammed causing the gear on the cam shaft which is not delled to turn on the cam shaft, thus moving the timeming point. We sruggled a few nights after finding out we also had the worng size rings in which was to small so it was smoking really bad. Not sure how that happened. Best is be a man, and just to say, both my errors. Well new rings, 54 mm timing sorted although i believe not spot on 100% but very close, valve gaps adjusted again, and made sure lock rings are really locked. Taking him out to the track this week some time hopefully. Found a old 14" rear wheel that i fixed up, and fitted. Had to be powder coated and painted. the rebuilt. Spokes still settling, but running ok. My son riding obsticals in the yard for now, getting confidence back after a pretty bad spill on another pitbike, late last year. I want to know if there are any 16" front wheels availible for the pitbikes.
