SO. Been a minute since i’ve been on. Finally got to tearing into the ol girl and did seals, and looked at possible problems. So it’s not the timing chain as a fellow said up there. It’s not valves, this is making me think bottom end (bearings, rod etc). Suggestions on where to look?

It is not clutch related. It’s a consistent tick, which makes me the thinks valves. And I’m pretty sure it’s not bearings as the bottom end was running and smooth a couple months ago. I will look into the timing chain thing tonight. I’ll let you know if anything. Thanks.

So i checked the timing chain and all is good on that. Any other ideas?

Yes I agree, but. I ride this bike a lot, and hard. Oil gets changed every 2-3 rides depending on ride conditions and length.

I did not have a good inspection on it. But it was not loose, at all. I can look into that. Thanks.

So i just did a top and bottom end rebuild (piston, rings crank, rod, bearings etc) and now all of a sudden I have a bad tick. Note that the head is fine, and off the original LIFAN 125. So let me explain, My clutch got stuck engaged, rather than cracking the case open I got a bottom end off...

So as the title says, I need a wiring diagram for a LIFAN 125cc. Also, the wire that's on the top right of the case, what is that? BTW I'm replacing the stator that's why. Edit: More specifically from the stator to the coil and cdi, the kill switch and accessories are still hooked up.

Like said above, check valves. Is your ignition timing right? What about your cam timing?

Check your valves. The ones on my bike got tight you could kick it by hand. and wouldn't idle/ run on the bottom end.

This is my first post, so Hello all! I got a rear shock for SSR 125 and the o-rings are all blow out. Looked at a local hardware store and they don't have anything small enough. I'd rather not buy a new one, but if it comes to that oh well. Any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks, Jacob
