Buying new bike.. Whats your thoughts?

I think it was 2012, its now in my shed in bits lol. I much prefer the motovert type r I have, but the zochies and fox podium rear shock could be the reason why lol. Will sell you that when I've built the 252cc Daytona engine to put back into it ;) Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

Buying new bike.. Whats your thoughts?

I hated my sp3 , the weight felt to high for me, and the rear way to stiff. Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

gpx 110 high comp race engine jetting??

I managed to get a 24 running on a lo comp 110 so it would suit a hi comp 110 fine IMO. Can remember jetting though, it was a long time ago lol. Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

what gen yx engine is this?

It should fit, only difference is rod length between the 150 and 160, i would assume the head off older models fit, they mainly upgraded them bottom end over the different models. Tb head would open your motor up a whole lot more though, stock heads flow pretty poorly Sent from my SM-T110 using...

    What bike is this?

Will be difficult to tune the carb while there is no air filter on it, it would be very lean ATM. Bang a lightly oiled unifilter on it, and check valve lash before you go looking at the piston and rings. Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

what gen yx engine is this?

That would be a gen3, clutch cover is also tell tale sign. Tb head, hi comp piston and let the good times roll :) Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

    genuine thumpstar 125 gearbox probs

I built a motovert frame (same size as yours) with a 160ho, was an animal :) Kenda washagual are the chunkiest 10 inch you can get i think, I ran a kenda milliville front, but can't remember the sizes sorry. Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

Baja Dirtrunner 70cc no start issue?

Did you put new piston and rings in? Sounds like all the compression is leaking past the rings into the case. These engines don't have much compression even in good nick, you can usually start em by pushing on the kicker by hand lol Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

    genuine thumpstar 125 gearbox probs

Light weight flywheel Depends in what you mean there, the inner rotor kits are rather hit and miss from China, and can leave your crank unbalanced, which leads to very nasty snapped cranks. The lifan 150 adjustable stator or the zongshen 160ho stator are lighter than a stock 125 stator, but I'm...

So how has everyone's long weekend been? Mine started great, Craig (former miniriders legend) came up, brought his psto 190, it200 and xt250 up. Rode most of Saturday right up until I ditched callums 190 over the top of a been in 3rd, smashed my knee to bits. 2 days later I still can't walk on...

    weight reduction

Best bet, turk the slug 110, grab a gpx125 for 460 bolt it up and let it rip Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

    weight reduction

Turf the battery and starter motor, besides that there isn't much else you can remove that has much weight behind it. Smaller front sprocket will give you better acceleration at the expense of top speed. Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk

    bmx problems

Crank bearings for sure if its bad, those bikes do sometimes have a almost ratchet effect when free Wheeling Sent from my ALCATEL_4034A using Tapatalk
