Hey fellas.
Had a few pitties over the years, DHZ and atomik 160/150s, Pitpro 125s, etc.
I've seen recently the Crossfires and Thumpstars (and pitsterpros) look like a bit of a step up in quality.
What's yours thoughts, the 140 crossfire has a pz27 carb and the thumpstar has a vm22 26mm...
turned out to be pressure plate. Finger height was about 3mm out toward gearbox more than a new one. Obviously enough to make a diff unless it was the spring pivot or something. Thanks for the help fellas.
Hahahha it was a fun idea good points. **** getting a 10 or 12 inch wheel 125 motovert hahah i wanted a 160/190 pitty on the road.
Maybe ill just save for a grom. Can you fit a big wheel swing arm and 160 motor and **** on a motovert frame??
What ahout those braaap? Theyre only like $3000...
Thinking about buying a motovert registerable pit bike. Then selling motovert and keeping plate to put on atomik. Get the atomik roadworthy spec and pretend its the motovert if cops pull me up as plate will be registered to a pitbike. Maybe put some motovert stickers on it.
I know this is...
Every component looks fine. Pivot. Fork. Clutch. I dont understand what could have worn over matter of weeks for the throwout to slowly move further and further from the pressure plate.
Got an atomik reign 160. When i kick the bike maybe 60% of the time it get sorta stuck. Have to give it a few kicks for it to unstick and actually turn the motor over?
It feels a bit softer than usual. Springs back without pedal spring attached. Slave seems to be getting a normal amount of travel. Its just that the fork has moved back towards the slave too much so normal throw isnt enough to disengage clutch i think
I can drive it relatively well without the clutch so its not a gearbox issue. I extended the slave rod as an experiment and it made the clutch work however it preloaded the pressure plate which made the clutch slip. Maybe this rules out a broken pressute plate? I actually thought of using one of...
Got a 2000 dual cab 3.0TD Hilux. Clutch is an exedy HD with about 50,000 on it, feels and worked great. Has new clutch fork and throwout bearing.
Few weeks ago i was driving and all of a sudden struggled to go into gear. I adjusted the pedal for more throw and it was all good again. Now its...
