stuff all for a head gasket... tools mainly sockets and a torque wrench its a 5 minte job. as for it starting depends on how bad the gasket is, if the engines doesnt have enough compression it wont go....

sean could you possibly grab some close up pics of the linkage? like how much clearance is in front of the spring at the bottom and the angle the set ups on?

take inlet valve cover off and start turning the engine over (anti clockwise) once you see the valve go down keep turning the fly wheel slowly until it come back up, now continue slowly turning the fly wheel until the "t" lines up with the mark in the case, that is tdc and you can adjust both...

i didnt think it would be that much lol, here are some close up pics anyway...

yeah mate try bump starting it then changing through the gears with it, just probably needs some oil splashed around in it

personally i dont think they will do alot at all going on how much "adjustment" there is

iv bought a set but cant test them yet as i dont have my new linkage block in the bike, ill grab some close up pics tomorrow to show you how they work

it has to be your cable if you didnt touch anything else? make sure its adjusted all right, whats the actual problem? stuck on? wont engage?

check all connections on each end of the manifold are tight and gaskets are in good shape...

take the slide out of the carb, look down the inside of the carb, there should be 2 pins on opposite sides of the walls, 1 skinny pin an the other a fat larger one. on your slide the skinny pin slides into the smaller grove (just locates the slide) while the larger one should be on the opposite...

i run a 105 main 45 pilot on a 26mm oko yx160 runs fine, whack the 188 kit on and still runs fine, thought about your float? iv had this happen where it dribbles out the air cleaner side of the carb and the air filter becomes all wet, maybe take a video of the bike running without the air filter...

Well i emailed the pitster aus fellas (pretty sure its ken?) And he said he has ordered some sleeves in so its justa waiting game, whole things still confusing to what brand of linkage it is lol Sean did you just drill the sleeves out for the bearing under the swing arm so the bigger bolt would...
