    Calculations

Also affects power range of the engine. stroking = more torque than boring and boring will let the engine rev a little harder than boring.

    Lowering Cubic capacity?

engine volume = cylinder = area of bore x height of stroke. There is no consideration of the compression or piston/head shapes.

    Greasing Up Parts

Marine grease is best for swingarm connections etc and anywhere you dont want water/dirt to penetrate. Its alot less liquid like molybdenum etc etc so it shud hang around for a bit longer. Good chain lube for your chain. WD-40, RP7 etc etc is a waste of time really.

    Fitting my lifan

Trying to fit it to an 'ares' bike, was fitted with a loncin 125, twin spar frame etc. Looks alot like the agb 21 but with beefier twin spar. Looks like this is my hurdle, rest shud be ok. Yea, ive got some 8mm bar and just pushes that thru so i looks like its an 8mm bolt. Even 10mm sounds a...

    Fitting my lifan

Hey guyz, in teh process of fitting my lifan 138. But the swingarm bolt engine mount is ~6mm whereas the existing bolt is 12mm. Just wanting to confirm that all bikes with these engines run a 6mm swingarm bolt. Ill just get a 6mm bolt and and fab up some bushes for the pivot points that are...

upgrades and the real stories behind them!

yea if you wana keep kicking you have to choose between HC piston or IRK. Or mayb do some work to stiffen the casing's or wat eva is going on there. Roost might have some ideas i think hes killed a few.

upgrades and the real stories behind them!

With the clutch; If its on the main shaft then you can start in any gear (or visa versa?). The problem with fitting an IRK and a high comp piston together is just starting the bike. Have you not read about having to roll start a bike with IRK and high comp piston? This is because the...

    25mm carby wont fit!

ah sounds messy. you could get an intake fabbed upbut might be pretty expensive if your not doing it urself. Not sure what other solutions there are. as for the sprocket, if its fits over the output shaft and bolts on ok then yes u can. Otherwise you will need to buy a new rear sprocket and...

    Inner Rotor Kit????

the down side is that it reduses engine brakeing but , who needs engine brakeing when you've got 2 stroke throttle responce and brakes reducing crank weight wont affect compression (engine) braking. It may reduce the inital braking if you want to do say a compression lockup into a turn...
