got the jetting straightened out..but the bird chirping is still coming out it sounds like its from the carb... any ideas?

No i do not drain it. and the carb is brand new so i would expect the jets to be clean..

I m upset with my 09 lxr 155z for a couple reasons...it keeps bogging around half throttle which i think is the needle. and what is the stock setting for the air screw?? also there is a bird "chirping" noise coming from the engine that developed recently. any advice before i get out of minis...

i have a 09 lxr 155. What are the valve clearances supposed to be at? and how much oil do you reccomen putting in this motor? thanks

but the thing is it didnt bog before i took it apart. also gas leaks our of the bowl sometimes for no reason? lol could there be a leak would that cause a bog only in a certain part of the powerband?

how do u go about changing the back 12" tire? i know its a pain in the butt so any suggestions how to easily do it? thanks

ALL FIXED!!!! Not sure abiut the slide issue but the float was on upside down..how embarassing!! anyways thanks for sll the suggestions. u guys are a great forummi really appreciste it

i know its not thr thrittle. i pulled the csble out of the throttle housing, pushed thr cable all the way in towards the carb and the slide dtill stays there

theres little indent at the bottom where the slide comes down, it is not sitting in those indents as it looks like it should. i checked csble everything. what ekse couldbe holding this damn thing up?!?

i just wanna sell the dsrn thing.
