hello, i have just recieved a new piston and rings. i would like to know, if there is anything i should do be4 putting them in? also, if any one could post, or send me a step by step manual of how to set a timing chain, coz my head n cylinder have been taken off bike, coz i dunno how 2 do it...

yeh but it was a tiny tear in the cam gasket, how would that cause ALOT of smoke? the guy who posted the "how to tear down a head n cylinder" sed it looks like the rings, if could have a look at that post agen for me n check to photos i posted there, n tell me what you think from those pics...

yeh but coz ive taken the sproket off the head, how will i know if its in the right spot when i put it bak on? ie, does it matter how i screw it in, will it be on properly, or is the mark on the sprocket line up with the head mark wich makes it in the right spot? soz ive never done this be4.
