I agree with the above. Get a regesterable dirtbike. Mx bikes in the bush suck. Noisy, harder to rego, short gearbox, small fuel range, hard suspension, 19'' rear wheel. For 6k you should be able to get a WRF250/450 03 to 04. Ktm 400 same vintage. DRZ 400.

One way around this problem would be to buy another chain exactly like you have and a few joining links. Cut a short section of chain and add on using the extra link. Downside to this is the joining link is the weak point on the chain, so you now have two. And you will need a chain breaker or a...
