So I have the 09 PitPro 140XR, Changed out the spark plug to a good NGK one, but am looking to upgrade the CDI/Coil lead aswell as get an inner rotor kit. There is so many to choose from.. but the question is which is the best?? Some friends run a "SpitFire" car lead... but dont know...

Sorry haha. It doesn't help when your room mate has the exact same bike and his never seems to fault and he's staring out the window laughing at me kicking it over and over again. I can see this bike wasting alot of coin, just like my RC cars.

It was the spark plug. Piece of crap bought a good KNG one. Stopped the massive kickback/detonation and everything.

PS: Valve Clearances are fine

Yeah its all running sweet now . One thing, during riding today it sounded 'tappier' from within the engine at the front. Perhaps this is because my valve clearance is too much? the other 140XR doesn't have the tap.. well as loud.

One more question, then I'm going for a ride... First thing I did was put fatter fuel hose, and take out the inline filter. It kept kinking and the bike would conk out. But now, I kept getting shit from the tank (which are shit by the way.. plastic pieces everywhere) Recommend a better quality...

haha, Just did the exhaust, it seemed fine though. The bike is so much better now, I have the hugest grin on my face! What a huge relief knowing my new bike is working how it should now. Thanks heaps man, you're a bloody legend!!!!!! What else is shit is how the engine block always strips...

I ended up going down to Mitre 10 buying some feeler guages. Took off the inlet valve cover, and there was no clearance, fucker was tight as! After heaps of bending of the feeler guage I got it in there but because of such a tight squeeze I dont think I got the exact .003 however when its all...

Turns out I don't have the measuring guages.. 2 sheets of A4 paper will work?

It's got compression, but compared to when I first got the bike, its easy as piss to kick over now. It does get the odd kick back and rapes my foot haha. But I can move the kick starter with my arm, with a decent force of course, but yeah. Gonna give this valve clearance a go. Just got to find...
