we have a guy that runs the 167cc daytona +r and loves it, claims its nearly as fast as the 150 dohc daytona. the difference between the 160 dohc and the 150 dohc is big, way more bottomend and midrange kills.

we run on our 160 dohc, pe 28, daytona spec needle (richest position) 35 pilot and 122 main. runs tiptop at 800ft above sea level 65 degree f.

same bore same stroke, bigger intake valve, weaker valve springs, different cam grind and an extra plate in the clutch.

yes the new 160 cranks have a shorter rod. 96mm or a tad shorter i believe. becarefull with the cam chain tensioner mech on the daytona if you have the cam chain tight as hell the bottom roller wheel will eat its self up bad.

dude fck the z160 (thats actually 155) if your gonna slapp down $600 for a $265 engine get the daytona 150. bolt right in, reliable as hell has tons of very cheap engine upgrades if you want to drag race it. dont get caught up in the "glee club" pitster bs hype, those engines are junk.
