Gday Mate! Still kicking.. ha ha.. Just busy with work, kids, house... the usual.. Still got the pitty though.. giving her a spruce up so I can get back into it!
Full boots here too.. no issues with em... I like me some shin protection too....
Good knee protection is a must too IMO.. I use oneil pumpguns.. much more comfortable than other cheaper ones, as they have a pivot point at the knee...
Other thing to consider is a compression suit. Forearm...
Probably not mate.. if i bring thomas, I have to watch him ride and look out for him.. hes only 5 so still cant just cruse around without a bit of help from me stopping, starting etc...
When is the ride day anyway? You rescheduled it already?
Definately forks and shock first. Trust me. They are throwaway items.
Everything else can be replaced as it breaks.....
I still have my original chain and sprockets after a good 2 years of punishment!
Just wanted to let anyone thinking about trying mini racing know what is was like for a first timer...
Seeing the track from the pits I was crapping myself, as it looked intimidating (it is essentially a big bike track after all)... But riding the track, it is actually really pretty comfortable...
OK, dont think I met ya then.. I was knackered after the Amateur race, and fixing my bike while the pro class was on... Dont remember seeing a Braaap either! Will have a look through the photos....
