we went a cheap set of minimoto plus 2 inch forks from webike on our dirt j1. wouldnt go jumping triples but ok for trail riding. will probs chuck some on a 82r eventually coz they look fairly stock with the light brackets removed. motodevo that bike is skitz.

True, but they crap all over stockers. Plus you get a half decent front brake. You can put your heavier springs and +1inch legs in em but they are still not gonna beat the chingas value and performance. Chuck some washers in as spacers to pre load the springs. If you have a lathe, make up...

They're nice shockies. Had em on my J1 for a couple of years now, upside down though to accommodate the up pipe. Not worth frame mods when they seem to work fine that way around. I think 280s are the smallest they have gav. They don't tax originality too badly at that size, they do look nice...
