Im about to give up on repairing my rear wheel... What options do you all have sitting gathering dust??

so my friend has just bought himself a set of motard rims. he is going to put the same tire sizes on front and rear wheels. The rims are 12x2.15 and 12x2.5. Is this normal or foolish ?

Soooo somehow I managed to expand the hole for me bearing, guessing the axle was loose. Is this repairable or do i need a new one?
