Start with the basics, Is it sparking all the time? or does it loose spark? If its been sitting around for awhile the carby could do with a good clean, take the jets out and clean them, Have you checked the points gap?

If the carbon is black and feels like Tar (bit sticky) than its caused from oil burning.... If its caused by fuel itll be dry and very hard to remove, Those pics look just like oil burning casing the build up, cause it looks wet

Yeah they fit ok, the head can hit the front guard/wheel on 125/140's, The only real problem is your putting a Chinga in a Classic bike:eek: Mr Honda would be crying right now:mad:

If by any chance your local to me (1 hour from Adelaide in SA) Id be more than happy to install new rings / piston and hone your cylinder for ya for only the cost of the rings + gasket, Cheers Buddy
