Ok so the window is not a correct indication of the right amount of oil?

Team, I have a lifan 150 and they have an oil window like the Daytona 150 My question is how much oil is there meant to be in it? reason i ask is that some web sites say 1100ml and if i put that much in it will be way past the line on the window... I have a road bike that i service...

Thanks Dabomb... but i just worked out the problem.... the rectifier was not earthing properly i ran an earth wire from the frame back the where i have it and the volts now stay around 12.3 to 13.4 Thanks for you help... ZC

I have it going through the Regulator/Rectifier .... Top left Red Top Right White Bottom Left Yellow Bottom Right Green But when the engine is running the volts spike ...could it be a dead Regulator/Rectifier

When you last rode the bike did you take it through water? or did you hose it clean after the ride. If so you my have got water in to the magneto... I have done this and killed a CDI and Magneto. Also have you checked you kill switch... loose wire broken perhaps
