    You could try a thread file. They're handy when the threads are mushroomed right over and a die nut wont start properly.

    Clive cams in melbourne can grind the TB honda style race cam. I got him to make the master a few months back for my twin. It cost me a stack of money, so hopefully someone else can make use of it.

    V-twin TB176 almost ready to fire. V-twin is almost ready to start. Its got oil in it and kicks over. Just ignition, throttle cables and a bit of fiddling with the exhaust to go.

    Twin carbs, the tb kits come with carbs. They might be a bit small though. Once again, it needs to run before I start chasing maximum power.

    Dummy assembled with timing belt. I'll have to make some sort of perimeter frame, I'm not sure yet. Need to make it run first.

    Next project! I'm aiming for 20HP out of this one. 176cc V-twin. Billet cases, xr100 5sp gearbox and clutch, 2x TB 88 top end kits, custom crank with tungsten counterweights. Heads are modded for an external belt instead of timing chains. Should be the fastest, most dangerous z50 ever :)

    Yeah, I've thought about clutches before. I haven't come up with a good way to re-make it any better than the original. Copying it with better material isn't gonna be good enough.

    V2 Head Leaking

    On some V2 heads, the holes for the exhaust studs are drilled to deep and break through to the inside of the head. Oil escapes past the threads. Unscrew the studs and loctite them back in. Should fix it :)

    Nah mate I got no spares, just the one I'm using. I'm making progress with the shims though! :) And the rebound needle valve is badly made, a bit of fiddling and it works much better.

    i like the yx engine, but you can't safely run it straight out of the box. They need some tlc to realise their full potential.

    I'm guessing your tappets were set a bit on the loose side, so when they're adjusted to the correct clearance the seals get punished even harder.
