Hey fellas.. Pretty new to the board but im just now learning the small engines.. My son has a mini 110cc atv and ive noticed its getting pretty damn hot now that he rides longer..

Iv got an electric fan i plan on putting on the side of the motor but ive also looked into oil coolers but he has limited room aroundthe frame..

First question.. Is a oil cooler even worth putting on and if so how big is to big?

Second question.. Is there a head and cylinder that cools better.. Ive seen 125cc cylinders and the look to have better cooling then the 110cc or 50cc

Have you got a decent spark plug in it ? A bad ignition system, or coil, lead, plug etc can make them run hot.
If not fit an NGK C7HSA in it.

And have you done a plug chop, high speed run and pull the plug out and check the colour.
If it is a bit lean they'll run hot too.

You can add an oil cooler to your 110, here is a thread that has some links to the parts needed
