Hey everyone!
I recently bought a second hand pitster pro lxr with a lifan 150cc oil cooled engine for cheap with some issues. Originally it was burning a lot of oil and would constantly puff out a cloud of blue smoke from the exhaust while running. My first thought was that it could be bad valve seals but upon removing the head the seals looked fine. I still replaced the seals anyway. But after replacing the piston and rings too i went to assemble the head again and ended up losing a valve keeper. I can’t find anywhere that sells them individually for my model of engine and it seems easier just to buy a new head since they are only about 80 bucks. Although I can’t find a 150cc head. Would a 140cc head fit a 150 or would the valves hit the piston?
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks!
