Trying too wire up my bike I have a zongchen 8 pin cdi (7 wires used) and
Trying to go to a 6 pin stator.
So far I know On stator.
Yellow wire to reg (power lights)
White wire to reg.
green/red netural light I think.

So I've got a
green (earth?)
Blue/white
Black/red
That I have no idea about

i don't think it's going to work, it could fry the CDI.
you don't have a floating power like a Lifan 150/Zongshen stator with the red w/white stripe wire

blue w/white stripe is the trigger coil, tells cdi when to fire
black w/red is the power for the cdi
green is earth.

another view of same cdi wiring

just buy a 5 pin cdi and wire it like this below

I have a 6 pin stator like below.
We're do all the stator wires go?
It's quite a worked engine do cdi's make much of a difference?
V2 head with work done, s35 cam, tititium retainers ect.

I've got that loom my original stator wasn't a lighting one. I'll get back to it next weekend.

are you running the small flywheel like the adjustable lifan 150 one, or Z160Ho ?

this stator has a lighting coil set on it, and suits the 8 pin cdi, and that loom.
you might be able to undo the 2x screws on this and swap the coils onto your backing plate.
but i don't know if the lighting/charge will be enough to run your lights etc though.

or if you are any good with wiring you could wind your own lighting coils onto your old stator that doesn't have them
KA1OKQ's HONDA XR-80 & XR-100 roll your own lighting page
