84 Z50R Needs rings

New member looking for a little help guys.

I bought my son a Honda Z50R super cheap off eBay, and we are having an absolute blast with it. It's blowin some smoke, and compression is low, so I figured it should be easy enough to put new rings on it.

Are there any instructional vids or documents out there to help me along?

Appreciate any links you can send my way guys/gals.

check youtube there is a guy on there with the z50r's that covers alot of the rebuild stuff on these hondas look for thealexman videos

you might find the valve steem seals and valves might need attention aswell , being from the leaded fuel era and all, might be a bit worn out now.

He hasn't got a video on rebuilding the top end step by step. I already looked.

The only other thing I can surgest is this:

Yes you can see Japanese words but if you watch whats going on its not hard to see how easy it is to work on these things
