Are 04 Pitboss' the same as Desert 110's?

I am probably way off but through trying to find a bike I have noticed that the 04 Pitboss and the 110 Desert's are pretty similar. Is this true or am i seeing things?

Yes they are both very similar . i had a desert 110 back in the day , and if i didnt pull the thing apart and sell things off , i would say it would still be running till this day!

it took a absolute beating that bike!
