Hey Everyone,

Havent been on the forum for a while, lot of work and other stuff, but the interest of pit bikes has not been gone. Bought a ´Dirtmax´ 150cc Pitbike last month for a nice price, so im going to rebuild it and ride it for the winter. Lot of fun because normally we dont have pitbike races over here, the pitbike races are only in the winter so maybe going to race some of them.
Enough said, I bought the bike, it has a 150cc Lifan Engine, used 3 Hours on the street so its still new. Front forks are Marz. Replica´s, looks pretty nice and has a DNM rear suspension. Cradle mounth frame, nice foot pegs and a nice swingarm, something nice to start a build i thought so.
Here are some pictures of when i bought it (It really needed some love)

Stripped the bike, sanded the frame and time for painting!

2 time primer, 3 time silver and 3 clear coats turned into this

New footpegs, foot rest, Painted the brake pedal, Chainslider in carbon look. I like the swingarm!

Front forks, Nice clamps and the brake systems

Cleaned the wheels, they look pretty sweet!

150cc Lifan engine, 26MM Molkt carb and a Twin Air filter

Build her up, replaced some bearings which needed to be replaced and she's looking good so far.. Love building pitbikes!

Going to throw the wheels in, and shes almost complete.

Ordered the following parts which i hope they will be here fast so i can race it lol:
- Red and white plastics
- Graphic kit
- New handlebars
- Pro Circuit look exhaust
- New throttle
- New CDI and Coil
- New chain
- Front fork covers
- Shift lever
- Carbon Tankcover
- New seat
- New grips
- New gas cap
- Some other small stuff..

Going to get the head ported and then on the dyno for maximum results of the carburator adjustment.

Thats it for so far, any help, advice and comments are more than welcome :D

Grtz,
Mini-Fifty.

There is alot to be gained here on the exhaust side, intake could take a little shaping.. Cam profile is okay not sure if its worth that..
Keep spare rockers around :D
Pick up the moklt, Open door... Throw as far as possible.
Replace with a vm26 or oko 26 or keihn if you wish.
Moklts are just a pos and love to bog while going over jumps.

Dirtmax 150cc Geico/Honda style

Had to wait a long time for my parts, but they are finally here,

This is what she looks like now:

I just have to get some new grips, barpad and gripdonuts and she will be ready :D
Let me know what you guys think!

Looks awesome dude.

Have to be happy with how it turned out. :)

Wow, it's looking a lot better than new now !!

Just watch out with your Lifan 150 too,
make sure you kick it over just past TDC, otherwise it'll crack the R/H case just below the gearbox mainshaft (front)
