Whats the best 125cc pitbike brand and model you can get? Please help

Will that fit me? I'm 5ft going through a growth spurt and I'm 12 turning 13 in October, Ill have a bike just after Christmas :)

Yeah i think you'd be fine on it, I'm 5"6" and it's easy to sit on.
I know a 4"10' rider that has a D Pro 140 and he doesn't have any trouble either.

The engine in it is one of the better pit bike engines around, they sell for $520-$650 just for the engine kit.

thanks my67xr

yeah that d-pro 160 is on special atm normal price $1350,

we have free shipping atm aswell deathrider,

the 125 std china motors are pretty gutless bud u will be bored in no time

160 is a big difference in power and u can throw 185cc bore kits and a race head at it later if u wanted, where as the 125 theres very little you can do

Very little you can do to 125?

You can make an Z125HO, 128, 138, 143, 150, 153, 160, 172 4v etc and it's easily possible, low cost with different heads such as Takegawa ,TB and Modernworks(with takegawa parts conversion) also daytona 28-23.5

Different crank strokes available to suit different class 41.4, 50mm, 54mm, 56mm, 58.7mm 62.7mm just to state a few ;-)

Here in the British minibikes champs pro 125 and pro 160 go out in the same class and the 125 are beating most 160 with ease
With higher reliability rate.

Yeah there's not much you can do with a Lifan 125.
The bottom end of the Lifan 125's isn't that strong, cases and gearbox's etc, standard 125's break the gear's
And you still have the only start in neutral set up too.
I can't see any benefit's of doing up a Lifan 125.

Unless you get something with a GPX125 / Z125Ho, and play around with it fitting a TB 57mm piston and a TB 57mm bore to it making it a 138cc for an extra $200 plus postage, plus all the machine work and labour etc
You could spend a heap more on a better head too.

The price difference between the 2x bike's, DHZ D Pro 125 and the D Pro 160 is only $250 more for the Z160Ho

I have seen the engine you are trying to sell Chase.
How many horsepower did it make ?
And Terry did the machining on the cylinder didn't he?
How much extra was all that worth?

Z125HO is NON sig also

I don't see any point in using anything other then z125, great from factory

The engine you posted is long gone and was more an trail then an fully fledged race engine

It went well forsure.
The 57x 69mm cylinders weren't ready available when I built it so I had terry make me one

The same motor went too 160 4v using an MW head with full takegawa parts conversion costing over 1000gbp just for the head

Also I have quility 54/56mm cranks ready available

Short story is, vast amount of potential from the small motors

Yeah, that would end up costing way over the OPs' $1500 AU budget.
There weren't too many pit bike available in Australia that came out with a Z125/GPX125, and the one's that did were a lot dearer than $1500 too
I saw that pic of the cylinder clamped in Terrys' lathe too.

Don't know why

Cost to buy from China for the z125HO aren't much more money then yx140 etc

Yea he's made a few bits for me including the cylinder for the z160 build

Off topic now. I apologise

Depends where you are and what lol I find yamaha 80 two smokers and Suzuki for like 250-500 us$ out here needing usually no work to just a top end
