braaap 190 rear shock play

Im getting a bit annoyed with the shock mount to swing arm.

Excessive play 2mm

The bolt has been changed to a grease nipple bolt.

l grease up before every ride , but slops up with in a few laps .

l have checked bearings and washers with no corrosion evident.

l have lived with this on some bikes ,but the braaap tends to hit hard of jumps.


Do other owners have a similar problem .

I think you will find that on most bikes

My five o set up has play , but I only notice it when I pick it up off the stand

It's never a problem when riding though

Yeah mine has about 2mm play on my fast ace shock

I haven't noticed any movement in my shock mount's, it land's smooth, but then it's still only done under 23 hour's.
The front inner swingarm spacer has a bit of play side to side, but that's just a tiny rattle

The fast ace on my daughters DHZ has no slack ...lm a bit envious. Maybe just fussy. l had spent a lot of cash on one of me euro bikes , linkages new bushes etc. with the same results.
On the Yamaha wrf still no slop with 8,000k on it.
Rear swing arm /shock play has always peed me off. Just cant deal with it.

My lxr linkage has always had slop in it. About 1mm. I ride it every weekend and replaced 2 linkages with the same results. I'm just used to it now.
