Hi, I want to do an oil change but all I have is Castrol GTX2 20-50W car oil. Can I use this?
Thanks :)

no you shouldnt
bike oil is designed for both gear box and engine lubrication where as car oil is only designed for engine lubrication

this was and could of been answered more in your last thread...

personally i dont recommend it because of the above post... if both oils were the same they'd have it printed on the bottles..

most/all car oils have friction modifiers in them which will kill your clutch quicker than you can change your oil lol...

you want/need a straight out mineral based without the above additives..

Lol if you crazy use it, pit bikes in my line of oil for pit bikes is 10w30, the oil you are throwing in is to thick at low temp

^^^^ Im gonna say don't risk it. If you can wait, it's better to be safe then sorry....

lol...

obviously its not going to do damage straight away..

its the long term effect to look out for...
