My CFR50 Build was a lot of fun and still on going i thought i would share with you guys as i like these threads myself

i didn't take photos of every mod but did take a few of the build.

i started out with a bone stock crf50 i bought off my mate ! i bought a lifan 125cc for it i don't have much money the 125cc is cheap and i have read great value also have the stock motor for a later date once i have a job il poor money into her and stick the lifan on something else

UPDATE:
Just Bought New Sprocket 37 teeth smallest i can find for 428 chain as original won't fit And also Chain Breaker From ebay

Looking pretty nice so far !

I wouldn't fit an inner rotor kit, it will lose a bit of rideablity,
and they are quite unreliable too, the magnet come lose and fall out the flywheel, the cdi's fail pretty quick,
that's unless you want to spend $300-$500 on a decent brand kit, Takegawa, Kitaco etc

have done some research about the cheap inner rotor kits many people saying they are bad and cut out at high rpm will save up for the real deal

have checked out site out looks like i will be buying some parts from them soon

i painted the swingarm black but iPhone camera makes look different and i was looking at the gpx 160 but at the time i didn't have $600 i only had $250 and yea i bought it new but i do regret not waiting and buying the gpx i have seen lots of vids they destroy the lifan

Update: Just spent $300 on a Yoshimura RS-2 Full Exhaust System !!
havent started her up yet :/
and having to repair front forks de threaded a bolt going to be a pain to fix but oh well iv got the time
tomorrow i shall be looking for new back suspension

Update put her back together fixed front shock problem got it going 67 Kmph from GPS

bit of an update bought a fox float from gumtree and trading my lifan + cash for my mates gpx 125 motor cant wait will post more updates in upcoming week !.

Will be like night and day with the gpx 125 in it, great engine choice. If your going to put a china 125 in a crf50 thats the one you want

traded my mate my lifan + cash for gpx 125 would you know how the wiring works ?

Gpx125 in a stocker frame holy crap hang on, good luck trying to get the power to the ground and using it, will be a wild ride that's for sure.

thanks craig figured it out lol i was using the crf50 one whoops lucky he gave me the proper loom and cdi with it.

From memory blue goes to pink, and the green matches up to a green with the appropriate clip. The green wire that doesnt have a matching plug doesng need to be connected, not sure what its forlol. The black and green wires under your little finger are the kill switch wires yeah?

You might have a few wire's left over, but just tape them back to the loom.
There'll be a spare green w/red (neutral switch, not used), and a yellow (lighting/charge) off the stator wiring.
And probably a spare black w/white & a green with the opposite type of kill switch plug in case you have the other style kill switch plug.
And sometime's an extra green (earth)


Double check how good your spark is too, if it's only dim, try swapping the wire's around on the ignition coil
Green terminal can also be for the power in with china coil's
