Those 2x cylinder's are going on Daytona 150's, they'll both be under the class limit of 200cc for racing in the UK.
Apparently both will be for sale in January/February after the Racing has finished.
Haven't seen any pricing on either kit or on the CNC water cooled cylinder either.

Lol,

Most of them parts on the last few posts are of my motos being built for world cup

Wrong about the size of the pistons though.

Both are kept under 185cc.

Iron liners were chosen due to cost and time ran, both will have under 25 hours when finished with.

May trade with stock 62mm cylinders ;-)

WC cylinders are still only a thought.
Running pump and a power source is a pain in the ass.

Seat job is easy cost is 150GBP for a full seat Job. Colsibro seats

You've only see a small sliver of what's going on.
Alot more to come.

Someone say.. DOHC...

Yeah it was only a guess, you don't give away too many detail's on Facebook
Are those crank set's ^ from MB Factory ?

Yea, MBF. We're sponsored by them for our anima parts and rider.

We ran a full season last year using their gearbox and crank and results were good, not one issue infact.

Worth the price tag? Absolutely.

I see you were asking about piston and rings for the T-REX moto.

What's the compression hight on the piston.
I have access to a vast piston selection.

If the 57mm pistons I have are the same.
We can work out a deal if needed

Also, I can't post too much on FB. Main reasons is,

It's a competition. People copy.
Not many will drop 3k GBP into a motor though but it's not worth the risk

Compression height is roughly 18.8mm
I haven't measured the bore yet so i don't know if i can get away with a 57mm piston either
I am trying to do it on the cheap for my cousin's son, he isn't in a rush for it

I just assumed it was for a t-rex 150 moto

Stock will be 57x58.7

Unless it's shrunk

Yeah T Rex 150E, but after seeing the condition of the original piston i'm wondering if the bore will clean up ?

Hm

No I'd say that's had it.
But I cannot tell

I might have one too.

If needed

Some more anima parts weve decided to make

Forged pistons From AaSa in two sizes
Stock 62mm
Oversize 64mm

Oversize are for UK market to take the 150 anima to max reg size 160cc

Nice work , your Insta page has some great work on there aswell.

Are many guys running the 150s over there Chase ?

Not really. 300ish riders. Handfull use anima

Silly really. Theyre proven over the YX in supermoto and MX

That's crazy , I really thought anima would be the motor of choice , what's the most popular motor guys are running ?

Most popular moto would be YX using TB parts
TB head
TB cylinder
Wossner piston
Bucci gearbox
Whatever aftermarket clutch
Whatever aftermarket crank

Problem is, with anima.. it cost 4x as much
and it needs work to make it compete with highly strung YX engines

What i do in the anima is instantly is change the seats not just because they're junk.. we want the valves seating 100% and we improve exhaust flow alot

With a good port job, well designed set work and 72mm sleeve job. 197 anima can out perform the 184 YX engine with all the above mods

Ah ok , so they run yx because they are cheaper , do many people run takegawa or Kitaco ?

Your work looks good , a guy here sent his stuff over to you to get a tickle

Ive built a good few engines using takegawa

Be it z125HO with the takegawa CSM head
Or YX 160 with the +R
Or an KLX with 138 kit

In my opinion
I wouldn't use takegawa ever again
The price is too much with performance same as TB

I finished An TB head. In my opinion better spec then any +R

Using Kibble white Stainless valves from crf250
high quality colsibro seats
Colsibro guides

Great port job

It still cost less then an +R with cam

You still get your die hard takegawa bumboys
We can make better, for less and to suit price limits

But ive been there
Got the tshirt

Also takegawa discontinued the +R
