Embedding videos into posts

YOUTUBE EMBEDDING

1) Chose the video you want to embed
2) Scroll down the page until you come to where is shows you the amount of views the video has
3) Underneath where it shows you how many views the video has there’ll be a button saying ‘embed’, click this and a drop down box will appear
4) When the drop down box appears the code will be highlighted
5) Copy and paste the code into your post
6) Then your video should show up as seen below.

PHOTOBUCKET EMBEDDING

1) Download the video you want onto your computer
2) Once downloaded onto your computer, down load onto photobucket
3) Once it is downloaded you have the option of editing your video (Title, Size(width, height), effects ect.)
4) Once you done editing you video you should come up to the front page with all your downloaded pics/vids
5) Click on the vid and it’ll come up full-screen, on your left hand side there’ll be an ad and underneath that you’ll have the option of choosing Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML code and IMG code
6) Select the HTML code and it will be highlighted and copyed at the same time.
7) Paste into your post and it should come up as below.

ok, theres been a few sections of the forums that arent allowing the above youtube embedding..

there is however a work around..not sure why this is but anyways.. but probly some site upgrade problem.

you need to embed like this

[youtube]fffflrlo oeeooe[/youtube]

where the random letters are in side the youtube code you need to input the last part of the youtube url after v=.

if the url is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QrHpTPS0uo

so end result will be

[youtube]5QrHpTPS0uo[/youtube]

end result [youtube]5QrHpTPS0uo[/youtube]
