Come on now, no china vs jap bitching coz that topic has got very old so give it a rest.

As for the comp the crf's are nice but I think im going to have to go with a Chinese bike. No Crf's bike is lookin good since it was given a new spine after the old one snapped at the head in the big collision of 09. Petes bike is also lookin nice. If I go for a jap bike then snitchy will get my vote for his beast.

Decisions, decisions.
 
just cause they have flash American brand names doesnt mean there made in USA... some will but not all....
 
yea but it's just a stock as a rock, outta the box, china. nice and shiny cuz it's brand spanking new.

don't get me wrong, it's a good bike and way better than your average $1k chinga.... I just don't see what the appeal is :confused:
 
think i might vote for a bike owned by someone who actually contributes to the forum, not just a shiny crf trophy hunter.... Just cause it's got Taky, Sano or Five-O written on it, doesnt make it a better bike. Means you've got too much money to throw at a toy.. ha ha.. Sorry i really dont subscribe to the whole Jap is a squillion times better than any china crap... Must really grind the gears of the Brand-name snobs to line up at the gates against a sea of chinas that cost a quarter of the price, yet with the same or better performance, without the work to get there... Funny how the Chinese can build the bike, straight from the showroom floor, that Honda riders have to build themselves....

MiniMulisha's stealth Zed is pure porn... got my vote... with Snitchy's big blocked Zed running a close second..

DvDrip, peter1230's bike may not be far from stock, but how many K1's have you seen?? It's rare, and makes the Bling on mine look like a half-assed afterthought... Stock isnt always bad or boring...

And MV24, that's the best i've seen your bike look young fella, well done... :D

It has the same or very similar frame as a vert pro so its a solid bike and looks to be a good overall size. Also the 155z motor brings it up to date.

Oh and you cant forget all that green bling :p
 
there isnt much left to mod other than maybe a set of zokes on the front and an elka on the back but i just dont see the need.
 
I tried to write a big argument up but meh.....

You basically cant compare Chinese stuff to the U.S made stuff.

Im not saying China parts are shit .. just nowhere near the same quality as say a billetware Frame or swing arm...

But saying that Billetware/sano/five0 usually go overboard in strength.

Like the Twin piped china frames.. that still snap occasionally when the billetware ones are single tubed and havnt heard of a failure ever..

Thats all i say ... do what you can afford

um i dunno bout you but i can see like a fair few bling bits on it, and you cant really call it stock as rock, like a lifan 150cc comes stock with a ORK and ORK is not a stock part its like petes bike its come with a fair few good pieces but dunno bout you my eye sight is 20/20 :p


.....and for the naiveness of some people is just simply amazing they seem to think good logo named brands will never come form china....dunno wether you have read before on items saying desgined in USA made in china??? more than likely same case with sano etc i could be wrong so dont flame but most things come from china these days thats just common knowledge
 
yeah, im not talking about every part on there item list, but majority of the fast moving parts like bling bits and engine parts come from china...

its all about manufacturing costs....

well sht look where the daytona engine is made..... designed by japs and made in china...perfect example

theres are thread about it on pm somewhere
 
stop trying to say that china parts are just as good, they never will be every china part ive owned its cracked,snaped and bent even that billet frame i had cracked and bent. so i got a billetware frame

Yer i would agree with that .

But the upper class brands no matter where they are made Shit all over most china items.
I built a hole 50 out of them ..
and i reckon the Lxr has along way to go to compete with the Strength/reliability of them.

I dont no what the argument is about?
