Fuel switch

hey guys, have a dhz dpro 140 and i am very confused about which way the fuel switch is meant to be. It has 3 position 1) off 2) On 3) Reserve i know off which is the little end pointing to the dot but not sure about reserve and on both have fuel poring out i normally ride with short end pointing down but i testing it pointing up and it seems to run a bit better.

the manual says it should point down but i dont trust it coz it talks about alot of things the bike doesn't have

most bikes fuel tape points down.....cheers

down should be on . and up should be reserve i think .then across is off
