The 1st Annual Gulf Coast Pit Bike Challenge will take place on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at La Marque Motosports Park,
a 300+ acre facility located on I-45 between Galveston and Houston.
The one day event will take place on a new fast and wide purpose-built track and will feature a $1,000.00 (plus 100% payback) Pro Purse as well as nice trophies and awards.
In addition, a new PitsterPro XJR SS 90 ***8220;Super Stocker***8221; Pit Bike will be given away in a drawing to be held prior to the main events.
Nearly all conceivable pit bike classes will be formed (min. 3 entrants per class required) and Pee Wee & Junior MX bikes will also run in age / cc classes.
Gates & Registration will open at 7am and practice will start at 9am.
Racing action starts at noon.
The ***8220;Mud Bug Run***8221; crawfish boil kicks off at 10am and food & beverages will be available throughout the day.
Age classes begin at 4 years to seniors.
ENTRY FEES: Pee Wee $20.00 ***8211; Junior, Youth & Adult Amateurs $25.0 ***8211; Pro Challenge $30.00 w/100% Payback.
Trails, fishing lakes & open areas for riding are available.
Free self-contained overnight camping.
No spectator or parking fees.
Coolers okay.
