well how many hours has the engine done ?
how many times have the valve clearances been adjusted ?
has the bike been getting a little harder to start lately?

It sounds like you weren't at tdc then ?
turn the engine over another full revolution and check the timing marks.

Ahh this is really frustrating me! Im just gonna take it into the shop an get it done! Such a down that it had to do this with i got it of 15 mins :( thanks my67xr you have been alot of help not just with me with everyone on this page! Hopefully i can get the knowledge that you have!! Cheers

Hi Emilio fortunately Chinese minis can be bought cheap. Unfortunately a motorcycle mechanic will charge themselves out from $ 60-120 per hour. plus parts. lt is worth familiarising your current bike and future bikes how they operate and the service requirements that need to be carried out. We a spoilt with reading material on this forum and the net ,with plenty of info and step by step tips on how to look after our bikes. This will be the only way to keep an expensive hobby on the cheaper side. The Chinese mini is relatively simple to work on and can be cheap. Just keep away from bling.
