Hi folks need advice on my 2009 ct110 postie bike

I've recently replaced headlight bulb, on ct110 and all was good till yesterday. Now I have no working hi or low beam even though bulb is not blown. Blue hi beam light is constantly lit up on dash now. Wondering what electronic problem i might have and weather its related to bike not idling now also?? Any advice would be great cheers Dave
