YX/ZS Pitbike engine performance mechanic
Hello Mini Riders of the world!
I'm always riding local tracks or woodlands up here, always helping friends troubleshoot issues with their pittys and I'm usually maintaining mine in some way... i've recently rebuilt the engine fitting some performance parts whilet giving it a fresh strip and paint since i had it down to bare bones..
Started off with a brand new M2R RF160 with YX 160cc engine and now its got a TB 184cc nikasil cylinder, VMC 64mm forged piston, TB high lift cam, ported and polished head, 3 point valve seats, Custom Stainless steel valves, GPX titanium retainers, TB stiffer springs, MBFactory clutch, Honda CR85 Racing clutch plates, Longer second gear, lightweight flywheel, racing coil and YCF CDI, 38mm True bore stainless steel big bore power bomb exhaust, 30mm Keihin copy carb, jetted and with better quality seals.
Pictures below are my bike before the engine rebuild and the newly rebuilt monster of an engine thats going back in the bike soon.
All the work was completed by myself at home.
