Honda today scooter wiring !

Hi all. I brought a new project,a Honda today or nvs 50. It needs the ignition barrel wired up and a few things. It does turn over but no spark. Question is tho could I run pit bike wiring for it as I know way more about it and its cheap to buy and available. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

Hey guys, I have been looking every where for info on this bike and nothing yet. There was two ignitions sold with this bike and the one i was told worked and needed to be wired up is the wrong one. I have worked out that this bike would have had the keys missing and has since been stored for years and sold a few times since. So i need a wiring diagram for the three wires at the barrel. There is red,pink,red/black. So if any one knows the order in which they go in that would help greatly! Thanks.
