Hey All
Doing a second CRF build, was very tempted to go with a KLX110 this time around however the little Hondas are hard to pass up!
Started with a 13' model completely stock previous owner was a 5 year old so it was the perfect project bike.

So far I've only done minor things such as:
FAST50s BAR KIT
BBR Tall Seat
FAST50s Red Foot Pegs
TBR Brake Pedal
FAST50s Oil Dip Stick
Red Fuel Lines

Future Plans Include:
Full Suspension Upgrade
88 Kit (not sure about which kit)
12/10 wheels
FAST50s Frame/SANO Swingarm

Thanks Motorman, can't wait to race it in the victorian series :)

Does anyone know where to get the new style CRF50 Number plates online?

There are a few Poiisport one's on ebay but they are about $40 odd inc delivery, but have you tried your local Honda dealer ?

I did try eBay.. when it turned up it was the old shape in chrome. false advertising! I might swing past the dealer tomorrow just don't want to pay too much for one.

Local honda dealer is best bet $55 each

Acerbis do a chrome number plate.

This is the Polisport numberplate- Polisport Front Number Plate Chrome Honda CRF50F 2004 2009 2011 2012 | eBay

There seem's to be 2 different genuine one's?

Progress..

Bolted up the BBR 88 Kit - Threw on a five 0 cam cover at the same time.
Should have my carb set up this week if I get time.. Expecting a fox float rear shock and new front end to arrive shortly.
Should be a very different bike next time its all back together - officially a 88 MOD :)
You may see me out at Broadmeadows ripping laps in the next few weeks!

Progress..

Hey guys

Bit of progress on this build as of late :)
Got my marzocchi front end installed which has really made a change
Seems to match well with the Sano swinger
The 88 kit from BBR started first kick which impressed me a lot, after a little carb adjustment it revs clean.

Not much left to do now.. Fox Float will be coming in a few weeks, 20mm carb upgrade and down the track ill do a race head or super head.

Ive got a BBR rear disc wheel tossing up whether to do a bar mount rear brake.
Let me know if you have any suggestions :)

I have a formula caliper and a rear master cylinder, it wasnt supplied with the correct plunge rod tho. Im thinking it should be possible to connect a lever , run a direct line to the caliper and have it set up like that.

Suspension Update!

Hey guys

Finally got my fox float installed
Didn't take long to tune it to my weight, set the sag and had a play with
The AVA settings

The bike is ready to hit the track!!image.jpegimage.jpeg
