kick back

My atomik nitrous 160 has really bad kick back... is there anything i can do to reduce this or do i just have to put up with it ?

Retard the timing. Grind the pick up on the flywheel in half

Are you kicking it from just past tdc? That will help, or get the daytona style adjustable rotor kit, an retard your timing a little

Mine had a real big kick back as well when i first got it, suprisingly i didn't ruin the case or any of the internals, one of my first mods was the lifan/daytona adjustable timing kit which in turn got rid of it. Being a YX engine you will need to grind the plate down yourself or try and find them that already have it done as they are made to fit lifan engines.
