hi i have a dhz dpro 140 and got in on sat. The problem with the bike is the kickstart it kinda backfires. after a few kicks it will starrt to do this some are small and don't hurt but the big ones they just bounce the kicker up and make a poping noise in the exhaust and rip the crap outa your foot mine like canning to walk on now Monday and im afraid to start it knowing it will do this.

try kicking it with just a small bit of throttle (like a shade more than idle).

the problem will be the ignition timing which you cant change unless you buy a lifan outer rotor kit..
better carby can help starting too

What kind of carby would help? I have the same bike with the same problem!

oh and 90gabe i have solved the problem u need to do a full stoke of the kick and a hard one and when u reach the bottom pull your foot to the right incase it does kickback

Yeah Ive tried to kickstart it properly at TDC but it almost always still kicks. Im going to try a new carb setup and i'll let you know how that goes.
