Kx65

Hey guys,
im new to mini bikes and i enjoy riding mini 2-strokes.
so im thinking of buying a kx65($3000) and modifiying it so its heaps more powerful and has better shocks.
what do you guys think??
will it work??

well a kx 65 isnt so much a mini bike you could race as it has the wrong style of motor but they are a sweet bike

$3000 sounds a bit steep.

yer i wouldn't call it a minibike .. but for a muck around bike go for it .

will need stiffer springs front and rear , and you should be just about good to go.

If it were me id go for a ktm65 they were a better bike when my son raced his kx65 , stronger motor better forks , better chassis and brakes plus our kx65 had 2 left side main bearings seize in 12 months . It looked like the left main bearing was dry ie not getting enough lubrication compared to right main bearing even though we always used motul 2t synthetic at 30:1 .Plus the plastics on the ktm look sweet imo .
