Lifan 125cc TYPR R HEAD RACING ENGINE

no idea, but why are you chasing a 125 engine.. at least go for a 140 or the gpx 125 at DHZ..

i think the type r lifan 125 is still a crank mounted clutch engine...

Ok is the gpx good coz my mini will be on both dirt and road soon so I want a good motor coz rebuilding mine is gunna be too costly

yeah we've had good reports on the gpx 125 engines.

but it really depends what you want.. sht loads of power or a good reliable engine where power isnt missed.. but the gpx125 should have both of those(power and reliable)

and id say the gpx125 is a shade slower than a 140

but also remember the engine will only be as good as the bits you have bolted to it..
IE:rubbish carb=rubbish power, same goes for exhaust

Ok so would a gpx 125 with a big bore exhaust and a 26mm oko go really well

Well i have ridden a daytona 125 in my bike at motard on the weekend and the thing fukn pulls for a 125 so if the gpx is anything like it and you dont need HUGE power get it...

Did you end up finding any info. Ive been wondering the same. Im wondering if they are just one style head and they just list it this way to sound better
