Lubrication of the valve's chain

Hi there! Today I set up the valve clearances.
When I've pulled off the side cover, I obtained there is no any lubricant on the valve's chain.
And the chain touchs the rubber spaces (have to be placed under my finger shown on the photo) and has a friction on them.
Is that OK? Or it will be better to put some lubricant? If so, which type of lubricant suits better?

As I know, in car engines (which have the chain instead of belt) the valve chain is well lubricated by motor oil.

That is just the starter motor chain, and yeah use a little motorcycle chain oil on it to stop it from rusting

The timing chain is well oiled, it's behind that metal plate behind the flywheel in your picture above.
Also when you removed the round camshaft cover on your head to do the valve/rocker clearance's you would have seen the oil on the timing chain
