hey guys
i am looking at getting a new bike and the Honda crf150rb is looking pretty good for me and i was reading somewhere that you have to rebuild them and change the pistons every 10 hourss or so. is this true???

Thanks guys

most bike manuals say the same.. depending how you treat the bike will depend how long it lasts between builds...

seen crf250's with well over 100hrs on them with no drama's,just keep the services and regular maintenance up to it

but if the bike is a race bike then it should be treated tht way cause its getting the pi$$ screwed out of it all the time..

thats for the state riders if you are just rideing it and not on the rev limiter 99% of the time you can do about 50 hours on it. My friend at the track has an 2007 the first model made and he's still running the stock piston with 73 hours on it.
