New ,so help me out. I bought a 1986 Yamaha BW 80 complete frame. I have a PW 80 complete motor. Installed and all went well. Problem !!!! PW 80 motor drive sprocket is short to line up with Big Wheel drive wheel sprocket. Has anyone done the conversion without splitting the cases and replacing the Pw 80 drive shaft with the original BW 80 shaft? Kinda weird but is there a way to make a jack0shaft to extend the sprocket line up? Thanks I hope someone see this.

How much length are we talking. Less than an inch or more. Take the sprocket and weld a tube in the middle and take another sprocket and weld it on the end. Making sure everything lines up. A machine shop could do it if you can’t. Bolt it right back on the shaft and it’s out as far as like
