I have a kx 85. and i just bought a ssr 125 pitbike. its my first four stroke and ive heard use non synthetic oil? would it be ok for me to use Castrol SAE 10W-40 Blend part synthetic motor oil on my pitbike?:bump2:

Some people say they burn out clutches quicker with the synthetic or semi synthetic - other people have no dramas with it.... So really it's a personal choice, i choose mineral (non-syntectic) but i have no proof either way. As for the weight 10w-40 will be fine.

I've used anything I put in my cars so generally Edge 10-60. I changed to penrite for the cars and put HPR5 in one of the kids quads and the valve train was noisy and wen dropped the oil was in pretty poor condition. Put the edge back in and both kids quads run great.
