ok, so my throttle housing is stock...its been bashed on and on.....
one of the screws has had its "teeth" as such to fit a phillips head.. RUINED
so I cant get into the housing.... :S

lets say i twist the throttle... it feels like there is a TONNE of slack... ???
btw i dont have the bike with me too.... :S

does it have a Molkt Carby?
i am helping fix a throttle slack issue in the Atomik Nitrous starting thread.
have a look at my last posts there

so to fix it properly,
you'll need a new throttle cable, with a shorter inner
or a new throttle
or go buy an Oko 26mm, with UNI Filter, quick turn throttle

or you could try the cheap fix, and redrill your throttle tube to take up the extra cable length
or unsolder the fitting off the end of your existing cable, cut the cable 10mm or so shorter, then resolder the fitting on

or buy either an Emergency Throttle Repair kit,and some grub screw to use inteasd of the screw supplied
or an extra long adjuster screw

yeah... saw that one.... i would rather the right angle on the end... if i come off i'll probably snap the cable off and it'll rev its head off....
what do ya think of the first one?

Impact screwdriver (the hammer ones) will get ya in

do you have any little vise grips ?
or a dremel, you could cut a slot in it and use a flat head screwdriver

can i use a hammer drill? or drill the head of it off?
you could try but the impact screwdriver will work all most for sure.. if not i drill a little hole in the center take the drill bit out smash it into the screw carefully put the driver back on and that usually gets them

a Hammer drill is for drilling cement/rock etc

most of the time with one bolt out,
you can carefully tap the throttle off the end of the bars anyway, then try and get the screw out of the throttle while resting it on a bench etc

OK little update in the heat lol
Got the old throttle off, got a good throttle off cordogs... That was nice of him...:D
Got the sand paper out and went to town lol
Gave it a paint
Looks like new now!!!!

good work,

hey i just noticed, your Front Forks don't have air bleeders ?
have you had any trouble with your seals leaking ?

i would delete or replace that last picture too,
the only way you could focus on it would be after a night on the beers !

i mean i could tap some in... but it would be abit of a pain!

Okay its done....
