Hey everyone,
Have noticed loads of you guys have done the lifan 140cc swap.
Any issues getting it rego'd?
From what I know i would have to get the engineers certificate.
Has this been a problem for anyone?

Cheers,
Steph

not to sure about the lifan 140, but i put a lifan 125 into a mates postie and had to make a bracket up for the rear engine mount, as they didnt line up. he didnt have any issues getting it rego'd tho but as we are in tassie there could be different laws here than for you guys

Depending on where you are, i would advise to get it rego'd with the stock motor, then upgrade it afterwards. I know here in the ACT once it rego'd as long as the registration does not expire for 12mths you don't need to take it back over the pits.
